NEST-S Standards
1. Creativity and Innovation: Students demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovative products and processes using technology.
Students will do this by presenting their knowledge about community in creative ways on their wiki.

2. Communication and Collaboration: Students use digital media and environments to communicate and work collaboratively, including at a distance, to support individual learning and contribute to the learning of others.
Students will utilize the class discussion board on the Wiki to communicate with one another – they are welcome to do this in class or at home.

4. Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Decision Making: Students use critical thinking skills to plan and conduct research, manage projects, solve problems, and make informed decisions using appropriate digital tools and resources.
The students will be working in groups, so they will have to plan their project out by assigning jobs for all steps of the project.

5. Digital Citizenship: Students understand human, cultural, and societal issues related to technology and practice legal and ethical behavior.
The students will talk appropriately on the discussion board to one another.
